COVID-19 CLINIC UPDATES

At Dalman Physiotherapy we take your health very seriously. We are following the Ministry of Health guidelines and taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of our clients and staff.

We will continue to monitor the situation and respond accordingly.

If you are unwell.

If you have recently traveled overseas.

If you believe you may have come into contact with someone with Coronavirus.

Please contact Healthline at 0800 358 5453

In order to keep staff and other clients safe, please do not come into the clinic.

Please contact us via email (dalmanphysio@gmail.com) or phone (04 499 4340) to let us know.

WHAT WE ARE DOING:

-As standard practice, we encourage staff to stay home if they are unwell.

-No staff has traveled overseas this year and have no plans to in the near future.

-All staff are following strict infection control policies and procedures. We are working hard to reduce the risk of cross contamination between clients.

-We have increased our cleaning procedures to ensure that all surfaces and equipment are regularly disinfected throughout the day (in between patients) and intensely overnight.

-Washing hands between clients

ONLINE CONSULTATIONS

We are currently in communications with ACC about the potential option for online consultations in the future.

Injuries happen all the time and we want to make sure that this doesn’t stop you from seeking out any advice. We are more than happy to help.

Through a video call we can discuss your injury, assess your movements, demonstrate exercises and stretches, and craft an individualised home rehab program for you. However, these consultations are only available for follow up sessions, which means we need to have seen you in the clinic before for this injury. So whether it be a current injury you’ve been pushing aside or a brewing niggle, we’re more than happy to have a look. This way, should the scenario change, we’ll still be able to guide you in your rehab through online consults.

We will continue to update you on this and more than happy to talk to you about it when you come in.

WHAT YOU CAN DO:

-Cover your coughs or sneezes with a tissue or your elbow

-Put your used tissue in the rubbish bin or in a plastic bag

-Wash (for at least 20 seconds) and dry your hands often - especially after coughing or sneezing

-Avoid touching your face

-Please feel free to use our hand sanitiser and tissues
